Christopher Stehn

Graduate student in the Molecular, Cellular, Developmental Biology and Genetics program (MCDB&G) in the lab of Dr. Largaespada.

 

Originally from southern Missouri, Chris is a graduate student in the MCDB&G program. Prior to graduate school, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Utah, where he worked in the lab of Sheri Holmen at Huntsman Cancer Institute defining new therapeutic targets for melanoma. Chris works in the lab of David Largaespada, utilizing induced pluripotent stem cell-based models in tandem with transcriptome and epigenome profiling to understand the gene regulatory events driving the development of malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumors.
